After each sale consignor selected clothing, toys, maternity items, and baby gear will be donated to a local charity and church ministry benefiting mothers and children in need. We are excited to announce that we have selected Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, Narrow Door, Martha's Village & Kitchen along with He Intends Victory- Terry's Kids to receive the selected consignor donated inventory for the Spring/Summer 2017 Sale.
Our mission is to identify and impact issues within the Coachella Valley by connecting people to God and supporting community. We do this by providing free public assistance that calls for immediate action in the areas of hunger relief, homelessness, clothing, hygiene and discipleship programs.
Imagine Valley Churches and other community partners working together to support their neighbors and in the process making positive measurable changes. To achieve this goal, The Narrow Door actively seeks out local church partners and service organizations to become our volunteer base. Currently there are 50 churches and faith based organizations actively involved. Ten of our church partners have taken on special roles by adopting communities. These groups deliver food boxes monthly, start community based Bible studies, provide children's activities as well as clean-up and fix-it projects.
As ministers of reconciliation, we are to facilitate the reconciliation of men and women to God, to themselves, and to society.
Since 1971, Coachella Valley Rescue Mission has been an oasis and a place of refuge for the displaced and needy in our valley. We are a safe haven, a place of rest for the weary, and a place where daily physical and spiritual needs may be met.
Over the years the mission has continued to meet the ever growing needs of individuals, who for a variety of reasons, have found themselves without the basic necessities of life. A dedicated staff and volunteers serve more than 175,000 hot meals annually and provide shelter to thousands of men and women with children. Food, clothing, and showers are also provided for those who do not shelter with us.
Martha’s Village & Kitchen is one of the largest providers of homeless services in the Coachella Valley working towards a day that everyone in need has food, housing, clothing, healthcare, an education, and the means to remain self-sufficient.
To serve our neighbors by responding to their needs with food, clothing, shelter and an opportunity to become self-sufficient by affirming their dignity with love, compassion and respect. When we change one person’s life, we change generations of lives.
