Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap.  For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you~ Luke 6:30

As many of you have heard the future of Monkey was uncertain. It was with heavy hearts that we announced in August that the Fall 2016 event would be `OUR' last sale. We have been blessed to serve the thousands of families and businesses in and around the Coachella Valley over the past 5 years and 11 events. With prayerful discernment, we made this extremely difficult decision not to continue knowing that it is best for the current season of both of our families. God literally called us out of this business we birthed, grew and have so deeply loved, saying you planted the roots now it is time to watch it bear fruit.

We knew that if it was God's will Monkey would continue under new ownership. We were steadfast in prayer with friends and family praying that the right person, would come forward with the desire to continue the ministry and service of Monkey in the Middle. During the fall event the seed was planted and after many months of meeting, praying and coordinating we are thrilled to share that MONKEY IN THE MIDDLE HAS A NEW OWNER.

We would like to introduce you to Monkey in the Middle Consignment Event's new owner Lucy Bruchet!!!

BruchetFam verse

Lucy cultivated a love for consignment stores at a very young age. Growing up in Portland, Oregon, where hip thrift store havens can be found around every street corner, her mother introduced her to shopping at vintage stores. Lucy was fuelled by the hunt and the thrill of the second-hand find. So naturally, once Lucy had relocated to the Coachella Valley and was expecting her first child, she was ecstatic to hear about the Monkey In The Middle Consignment Event. Even before she attended her first event, she jumped on the opportunity to become a consigner and volunteered her time so she could take advantage of shopping the Banana Bash Pre-Sale. Lucy fell in love with Monkey In The Middle, what it represented, the families that it attracted and the effervescent marketplace it created. When it was announced that October 2016 would be their last event, Lucy felt that this would be a business she would like to operate and could carry on with a similar mission. Lucy brings her entrepreneurial spirit and is passionate about being able to serve the community. Her hope is that she can take the legacy that Bri, Jules, Jeff and Jason have so thoughtfully, carefully and lovingly created, and continue to support the Coachella Valley families and charities through Monkey In The Middle.

Excited that God brought the right person and family; likeminded, with the heart and passion for continuing Monkey in the Middle and the service that it provides to the Coachella Valley and surrounding communities.

Friends- Please know how difficult this decision was and how much the overwhelming support that you all have shown us over the past 11 events has blessed our families. We are confident in this decision and the future of Monkey in the Middle. We are excited to support Monkey for years to come under Lucy's ownership. We look forward to seeing her grow the business as it continues to bless families. We will see you in Spring as we join the sale alongside you as consignors, volunteers and shoppers!

Thank you for your continued support of Monkey in the Middle. We are thrilled to be providing this resource to the community and hope that it continues to be a great way for Desert Families to SELL- SHOP- SAVE on all things Kid!

We look forward to continuing to work with Local Charities along with Desert families to help build a Community of Blessings as we Reduce, Reuse and Rewear!
